Biography
Friend I really do hate talking about myself...
So, I had someone else write this.
Mary Lynn is the most real person you will ever meet! There
is no pretense, no exhibition and no ego! Considering the
sensationalism evident in the genre of supernatural media we
feel it is important to show real people exist in this vocation.
Mary Lynn is committed to using her gift to help, to teach and
to guide. She helps people with their problems by tapping into
issues she has dealt with in her own life.
Her main goal is to assist in the search for knowledge and
understanding by allaying preconceived notions in a subtle,
comfortable and non-intimidating atmosphere. Mary Lynn is not
only a psychic, she is a wife, a mother, a well respected
and accepted neighbour.
Mary Lynn's gift gives us a chance to peek behind the veil
and travel beyond what we see, feel, touch and hear. The fact
Mary Lynn is a psychic does not preclude other subjects. It
opens a gateway into the unknown.
Mary Lynn has a genuine thirst for knowledge and, as she
has the gift of precognition, is the consummate interviewer.
She knows exactly what question to ask next. The guests on her
cable program have enjoyed deep and comfortable discussions
rather than journalistic interviews. This puts them at ease
and allows a free, deep, meaningful conversation on the
subject which has aroused their passion.
Years of dealing with people in difficult situations have
given Mary Lynn a soft touch. It requires a delicate hand to
reach out and touch someone who has come in hope, in despair,
in search of answers they can get from no other source.
In her work you can see the results. Each time a client
departs there is a lightness about them, a skip in their step
and relief in their eyes. Each person is genuinely moved after
a visit with Mary Lynn and it does come across on screen. She
has the skill to make people feel better about themselves and
their world.

Born in St. Andrews, Scotland Mary Lynn moved to Canada
in 1958. She grew up in Mississauga.
The first TV appearance she did was Psychic Dimensions
with Richard Ravenhawk in 1994. Mary Lynn was asked back and
did a second show later the same year.
Her television appearances include CHTV's Live Morning Show
which named her as one of Canada's top 5 psychics on a show
where predictions for 2002 were given.

On September 27 of 1996 Mary Lynn appeared on Talk of the
Town, a morning show from Nashville Tennessee. She was there
in conjunction with her work on the Country Music Association's
awards program. Her association with the CMA has led her down
some very interesting paths.
Mary Lynn was a fixture at the CMA awards for 5 years. Sony
Music still requests her attendance every year and gives her
one of their board rooms to do readings for their staff and
friends.
Mary Lynn has made several appearances on various radio
programs throughout Ontario, CHML Hamilton in 1991, CKDO
The Edge 94.9 Oshawa in July 1994, the Sally Diane
evening show from Cambridge twice in 1997, Mix 99.9 from
Toronto for Halloween, October 29 and 30, 1997, The
X-Zone with Rob McConnell where she appears as a
recurring guest.
As a result of years of work with artists and media
personnel Mary Lynn has accumulated a rather impressive
list of names.
One of these friends, Janet Williams, just happened to
be a talent wrangler for TNN and got her a spot on Crook
and Chase, an interview show seen nation-wide. Mary
Lynn was interviewed as a personality profiler who reads
shoes to assess a persons traits. Again, her own personality
shone as she was able to get the hostess to actually
do the readings herself.
Into the unknown, now in its 4th year, is the current
incarnation of Mary Lynn's talent. It is a local cable
program aired on Sautel, a small cable system in Mid-Western
Ontario. From the humblest of beginnings into the unknown
has become the most recognized of their in-house productions.
Over 35 shows she has interviewed notable experts in such
diverse fields as reincarnation and Chi.
Mary Lynn has been writing a column for several area
newspapers. She has 88 published articles in the Port
Elgin Beacon Times, Marketplace Magazine and LPSS
Matters to her credit. These articles, along with letters
and stories have been assembled into her first book.
Married in 1972, she has three children Nicole, Michael
and Melissa. After this brief marriage Mary Lynn lived
the life of a single mother for several years and
remarried in the late eighties. This marriage lasted 5
years. Both marriages were life lessons she needed to
learn.
Her heart finally settled on Russ in 1996 when he came
for a reading and that was when her life really took off!
As a psychic I see possibilities and probabilities. As
an individual you have the power of choice and decision. A
reading should be used as a guideline not a lifeline. I
believe my ability is a gift from God so I can help people
and give hope to those who need it.
I still have my lessons to learn - no different from
any other person.
Mary Lynn
Thank-you Steve and Melissa.
