Runes are an alphabetic script used by people from Northern Europe as far back as the first century. Runes carry with them wisdom and magic. Over the years they have been used as talismans, spell casting and forecasting the future.

Germany was the first country in northern Europe to develop runes. Soon afterwards, the Scandinavians adopted the symbols for their own use. When the Vikings traveled to other lands, they took this system of writing with them. Thus the use of Runes was spread to other cultures.

When I use my Runes, I close my eyes, focus on my question and choose a Rune. It has always amazed me that the Rune I choose always answers my question. Sometimes I just close my eyes, ask "What do I need to know today?" and choose a Rune. I always seem to received the advise I need for that particular time period.
